HI Im just back in Brisbane for a bit longer after an extensive stint in the Himalayas where i live part of the time... Ive flown around Everest in a light plane, trekked the Annapurnas and rafted down the Ganga and much more....(not bragging just saying!) I love Nepal especially and also India. I have lived away for about 4 years after my kids finally left home, I raised them myself :-). I am looking to make a difference in Nepal with my growingnepal.org project which is a combination of skills and capacity development down near the Indian border in Nepal for 300 households of the ultra poor.. i have a travel company partner in Kathmandu so if you want some great travel deals let us know, part proceeds go to my charity... I find myself back in Brisbane at this time to do fundraising (eww) and corporate networking work here (double ewww but i do what i can)
I would love to meet new men friends that I can laugh with, hang out with, learn from, ride motorbikes with (you ride Im on the back!). I am spiritual, humanitarian, vegetarian and even vegan at times blah blah and am getting myself back together after breast cancer last year and coming out of a relationship overseas (dont ask, just empathise!) that was my first relationship in 16 years... I dont pursue men I wait until I feel a true connection with someone and let them lead...
Like I said, I need to laugh, have fun, see new things, hang out and discuss the big issues - how to improve ourselves and the world we live in. Im not materialistic, I wont ask you to take me shopping, Coming back to Australia I was happy to have good internet, a soft bed and hot water!
I dont mind the odd drink but really dont really care for it. I love travel, trekking, hiking, and adventure and seeing amazing new things more than anything. If you cant stand the garbage of mainstream media, love good alternative music and dancing and are looking to make a change in the world, I'm very keen to hear from you. I know I'm quirky but i have a great heart and soul :-).
I am also a devotee of meditation and yoga, I was initiated into Kriya yoga by a master in Rishikesh. I'm also a Positive Psychology and Detox coach, so if you need someone to guide you into a healthier holistic lifestyle with nutrition, exercise, meditation and yoga I can help. I have worked with doctors, everyday people and helped them clean up their act to get to a calmer and more healthy state of mind, body soul... I am also a professional Tarot reader and developing medium and 13 sign astrologer which Im trying to teach myself. I am empathic, spiritual and compassionate and want the same in a man, with great strength of character, purpose and conviction.
Please if you are "mainstream" keep in mind I'm probably not. I dont mean to offend, but I just dont want to waste anyone's time or mine. If you hit on me straight up re sex you will be deleted (think Weinstein!!) and you must have a photo or you are wasting my time.. Also if I cant see your eyes i cant see you, and please dont contact me if your photos show are out slaughtering animals, including fish. I just dont dig it.. the planet doesnt need it and neither do I.. I dont mind how old you are, age is no problem within reason, but what I am really looking for is connection, friendship, progress and stimulating conversation ..
Im actually really chilled I just come across as bossy haha
